Originally inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons mythos, Slayers is an action-comedy fantasy series that takes place in a medical world of sword and sorcery. Our heroine of the story is Lina Inverse, an incredibly talented sorceress who often finds herself in situations where the survival of the world is resting on her shoulders. When she's not saving the world from impending doom, Lina is often traveling with her companions, looking for the ultimate meal, treasure and adventure.

The world in which Slayers takes place is incredibly detailed. To best understand the content of the site, readers who are new to the series should read the information contained in this introduction. It will provide a background specifically for Slayers TRY (the third season of the anime) and the races frequently mentioned throughout the site. I've also included a glossary of terms for quick reference.
